I appreciate the effort but it strikes me as way too dark. And black with pink isn't the most pleasant combination.

I really like the dark background color. The blue was awful. Not so crazy about the shade of pink for the accent color. It would blend better if it was at least a darker shade of pink. And the banner - I know we could do better than that. But I'll give you 10 points for it.

I like the Colours now. It reminds me of sleepy coffee. I do like the white, however, from when you type a response. And I love this new font! It's so sexy. I try and use this everywhere, and now on the forum too. *sigh*

Its is very dark. I liked the blue as it was all light and cheerful this looks a bit depressing.
But then again its just what your used to and in a few weeks I will properly get used to seeing the board like this and totally forget all about the blue.

I guess nothing can please you here. It is sad really. I like the new songs and I like the new look of the site. I also liked s/t. I found her with exile and have liked pretty much everything since. why be a hater? would I prefer exile type songs sure.. but I am happy with what she is putting out. Why evalute everything the poor woman does. Imagine someone sitting over you at work doing the same thing.

HA. happy she's putting out, eh? i guess she's probably happy about that too in ways that don't concern us, but i'm assuming everybody's joyful to hear so.

and lastly, i'm not evaluating. i'm stating an opinion. some people like the new looks of the board. some people like the new songs. some people don't. some people prefer the old-fashioned liz who had more of an attitude and less of a sell-out appeal. a lot of people sit over my work on a daily basis, dear. the same way some are pleased with it. famous people are susceptible to get criticized publicly - but that doesn't mean, us, mere mortals, don't get to deal with that kinda crap, too. really? liz is also a human being. not a goddess.

I like the new cd cover, but this color scheme for the board just plain sucks!

after I'm done reading the posts and then watch something else (like my tv) I see white lines everywhere

None of the board effects my eyesight...I like this colour scheme.

it's a bit contrasting. if the tones were softer, it wouldn't be as hard on the eyes? i don't know. i don't like the set up and disposition as a whole, so i'm not really one to identify what could improve what seems to be the most common 'issue' right now.

I've tried to get used to it, but I still think it sux. I have discovered a trick that makes it easier for me to read... If I leave my 'favorites' bar on there is allmost enough light to ease my eyes, plus it helps avoid that god damn 'blinding' sensation when you try to reply to a post.

If you have read anything I've posted you'll realize I am a defender of the LP album. Personally I think whip-smart was mixed while the producer dropped acid, & it is not a fav. of mine. So you see there are all types of Liz fans logged in here and there are some intense post. So suck it up get a friggin' helment and either hit somthing or get hit. HATE THAT

My guess is that they haven't even heard guyville. But I am pathetically cynical. He should write reasons he likes guyville, not just "I like it."

I just posted what I posted because people started ripping on the new cd and havent' heard the whole thing yet and then they start on the colors of the frikkin website. Jesus it was too much. Of course I think people have the right to their opinion, but I also have a right then to state that I think people are being shitty about Liz's new phase. But really I don't care. I'm not sure what I think - I heard the part played on the dell advert and another part from a shop and the 2 samples didn't sound like the same song - One was bad and the other was ok.

I don't think there's anything wrong with saying that the board is hard to read or hurts your eyes...which is all most of us did. I could care less about the colors but it is hard for me to look at now. Good thing that I don't spend as much time here as I used to. As a newbie I think that you just don't have anything to compare it to and therefore don't understand why the sudden change was jarring.

The white letters on black are still pretty tough to look at for me though and I have perfect vision...maybe it is just because I have to stare at a screen all day for work and have to readjust to the white on black every time I come here...I don't know...but for me, its just too harsh...maybe if the letters were larger it would be easier...I don't know. *sigh*
