Below is the set list for tonight's Birchmere show. She again sounded great. The show wasn't quite as good as the first Birchmere show (imho). last night she did a three song encore & tonight no encore at all. It was again a sold out show & everyone was enthusiastic but the crowd didn't seem to have quite the energy as last night. Maybe because the 2nd show was added later and more of the hard core fans got their tickets for the first show. I don't know but the energy wasn't quite the same. Great show though. She was in a great mood and sounded fantastic.
She mentioned that "Closer to You" may now make the new album afterall even though she had been telling everyone that it hadn't made the cut. That would be good news as it sounds like a great song.

1. Poyester Bride

2. Wild Thing (Liz's lyrics on top of old Trogg's "Wild Thing" music. Never heard her do this one.)

3. Never Said

4. Baby Got Going

5. Extraordinary

6. Table for One

7. Mesmerizing

8. Uncle Alvarez

9. May Queen

10. Somebody's Miracle

11. Soap Star Joe

12. 6 '1"

13. Closer to You

14. Everything To Me

15. Divorce Song

18. Fuck & Run

Thanks for the report. I'm glad to hear there's hope for "Closer To You." Did she say why it may be added?

Glad you had a good time and a good show smile.gif

She wasn't specific about why "Closer to You" is again in contention to make the album but I get the feeling it is because she has been fighting for it....playing it at a lot of the shows and telling everyone how much she likes the song and is bummed it wasn't making the album.

Awesome news - hopefully it's added. She told me she wasn't happy with the way it was recorded for the record, but hopefully it'll get released in some format - maybe on iTunes if in the end, she can't get it put on the record.

But...it's Liz. She's great so she can do what she likes.

I agree with Todd on the energy level ... Still, I thought it was a great show. I was right up in front of her and had eye contact a couple of times. (She smiled at me when she saw I was singing along !!!) I grabbed the other set list from the stage. (Hi Todd) She came back out a little while after the crowd thinned out and chatted / signed / took photos with fans. Can't wait untill the next tour !!!
