Two years after releasing Liz Phair, her most popular CD to date, she returns with Somebody's Miracle on October 4th. Listen for new music from the CD when Liz joins Haneen in the studio to talk about her reaction to critics, the days of Lilith Fair and getting over stage fright.

Were already past half way through the hour and have only heard two songs off the new record "Somebody's Miracle", and "Everything to Me". I hope they get to so more new stuff before the hour is over. Something not Promosquad please.

I was hoping to hear new songs other than the Promosquad ones ('Somebody's Miracle', 'Everything to Me', 'Giving it All to You'). It was nice to hear the full version of 'Giving it All to You' though.

Is it just me or Give it all to you" sounded a little less polished than the promosquad clip?

I liked it ALOT! I very much liked the Promosquad clip and I like it even more now. And by the way, Liz DOES play her duosonic through this entire song. That eases some of my early fears about Liz not playing guitar on this album.

I really wanted to hear some new songs but I guess the full version of Giving it all to You is enough. I really like the song but I'm expecting better on the album. I wanted to hear Table for One , Lazy Dreamer, and Got My Own Thing. Also what was with the random Alanis song in the middle of the show?

Don't forget "Stars and Planets", that chorus on her Guyville video retrospective sounded very good!

Yes she says so herself. She says that that's her on her duosonic at the beginning of "Giving It All To You" and she plays throughout the song.

She said "It's great because I used my real guitar, my favorite number one and only yellow guitar that was on the cover of Liz Phair that I've has been playing forever and ever and it's great. You can hear it at the beginning and it goes all the way through."

I didn't think it was her duo either, but I'm glad it is. Doesn't she play on "Somebody's Miracle" too?

Right before they played "Giving It All To You", Liz set it up by saying:
"It's a nice testosterone punch, but it's great 'cause it's my real guitar, it's my favorite and number one and only yellow guitar that was on the cover of Liz Phair/Liz Phair which I've been playing since forever, so, it's great. You can listen to the beginning, you'll hear it, and it goes all the way through."
