she was that "old."

I for one, hate this song. Nothing against Gwen. Mostly I hate the queefing cheerleaders at my school who think this song is hardcore urban music and scream it at lunch.

I always thought a hollaback girl was a girl who responded to booty calls and the like.

How wrong I was.

I really hate that song. All the stupid girls at my school sing it and it makes me so irritated. Gwen sang better songs when she was with No Doubt.

I don't really care... although Hollaback Girl isn't the best song on the album, LAMB makes me happy, and I smile loads every time I listen to it.

It's probably/possibly an age thing I guess.

I love the retro 80's influences throughout it, whilst at the same time I also think it's an almost un-catagorisable album.

You have to admit that it gets stuck in your head. I find myself singing it all the time.

the song sucks, but the bubblegum factor of it is what makes it popular. plus, the fact that she mocks censorship (in the video). there's no way not to like gwen because she always ends up pulling off some kind of act that will draw attention to her and makes her likable, but i can say that i look forward to the day no doubt releases something new again. if she was smart, she'd do it before considering a second solo.

Her solo album makes me cry. I thought the first single was the only good one. Gwen used to be cool when she was in a really good ska band (No Doubt's first CD is AWESOME), but after Return of Saturn, it all started to go downhill. Rock Steady was a TERRIBLE album. Oh, how I hate it. And how I hate Hollaback Girl....

I sampled this album prior to its release for International Web servers (ringtones).. anyways, Gwen said something of this nature on its promo: "This is a new me... a pop princess... and its my guilty little pleasure, it will be yours too" ... or something of that nature.... i just remember hearing "guilty little pleasure" and I wanted to throw up all over my CoolEditPro work.

What matters more folks, PRIDE or MONEY?

I like the "Hollaback" song.
Roosevelt likes it alot.
Gwen may be 35 but she's still very hot.
She has a very nice rear end also

Yeah. I am not a big fan of it either. I got it hoping for more. Ironically, my dog chewed it up. true story. Sorry Gwen.
