She recorded it with Material Issue (who played all the instruments), a now-defunct power-pop act from Chicago. The dude she's singing with is leader Jim Ellison, who commited suicide about a year later.

They backed her in the same way on "Rocket Boy" (from the Stealing Beauty soundtrack) and "The Tra-La-La Song" (from Saturday Morning Cartoons Greatest Hits).

Late 1995 probably? Juvenilia has a copyright date of 1995 on it (just checked my copy), although I could have sworn it was released in '96. So much for my memory!

How ironic that I just saw this video last night for the Vapors. On the back of the ep, doesn't it say when songs were recorded? I could have sworn it did.
