Charlotte Martin - Monster.

She wants to sell more records after the second album kind of flopped. Hence the change of image. I like Maneater but I think it's too similar to Milkshake, just by the way it's structured. Whether she's comfortable with this change of image, I don't know. It does seem forced but a good song Maneater does make. I liked her Powerless single better though.

i listened to parts of that album and god was her voice ever annoying. i immediately put the cd down and left. is she trying to sound bad on purpose?

pfft, wly. i just listened to dresden dolls' self titled and was just blown away. the vocals are beautiful., if a bit chilling. you have to listen to the song "slide" and "half jack". it's really one of the best things i've heard in a while.

i listened to the yes, virginia album too and it's very impressive but not as consistent as the self titled. my favorite track of it is "delilah".
