If you play the live version of "Don't Hold Your Breath" backwards, you can hear a small voice going "I will play in 2007, all the girly sound songs I have relearned" over and over and over again.

I for one am really excited. Hopefully she'll come to Clackamas and I can listen to Double Dutch as I rock my newborn.

Potential bullshit joke on the part of CA.

I just don't hear it.

Take the songs and convert them to WAV format. I use winamp to do this.

Then load the program into Windows Sound Recorder. There is a reverse command that takes a WAV file and reverses it.

I've played this about 3-4 times and I don't hear it.

There are also commands to slow down and speed up. I used those. No magical low voices anywhere.

If there was something that would make sense played backwards, you'd sense it when played forward because it would sound screwy as hell.

Yeah, I don't believe it either. I never buy into the whole "if you plan it backwards, you'll hear..." thing.

It is actually fairly useful.

I separated the hidden accoustic version of Sarah McLachlan's Posession from the last song from Fumbling Towards Ecstacy using sound recorder.

I really need to pick up some other audio editing tools.

That is one of the best songs to come out of the 90's.
