Great pick! I'd put this on this thread but I have never stopped listening to it. Vocally, it doesn't get better than Kay. BTW have you heard any of her solo stuff? A while back she actually did a few gigs with Nina Gordon and Michelle Lewis under the name Lady Apples... Her new band Dilettantes are pretty good too! (i've only heard stuff a friend sent me).

I used to have that cd. I don't know what happened to it. I loved it as well. The last time I heard it was on the closing credits of Dahria one night. I was in the kitchen and heard it and ran to the living room hoping that some how they had run the video but it was my daughter watching her channel.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers Greatest Hits. Far too often, they've tried way too hard to act like they're way too cool for the room to the point where it's obnoxious, but now that a few years have stripped all that away, it's left with just excellent songwriting and playing. Plus, Anthony Kiedis' vocals are fairly similar to my own natural range, so it's got that added singalongandnotsuckatit factor.

Pulp = Hits

I find it out in my CD collection last nite and it once was my VIP CD, I'm really sorry for this album since I miss it, I really did sorry but whatever I check it out now, the vocal Javis Cocker is a geezer and I loved him I love Pulp so crazily! hey guys don't ever miss the amazing band- PULP~ ; " Oh-oh-oh Oh you knew it and you blew it didn't you babe? I was lying when I asked you to stay now no-one's gonna care If you don't call them when you said And he's not coming round tonight to try and talk you into bed And all those stupid little things they ain't working No they aren't working at all oh " -Razzmatazz - I had a remarkable feelin on this part then Javis is " mamamamamama............mamama " good job! I totally enjoy this song, " Common People" kind of ironic and I'm gonna kill the stupid girl inside this song ^^, other favorite : Babies, Help the aged, Trees, Bad cover version, Disco 2000, Sorted for E's and Wizz, do you remember the first time?

I love Saint Etienne totally... ever since their first album release of Foxbase Alpha in 1991.
You Need A Mess... is a quite an old compilation album of theirs. I love Tiger Bay though. It's my favourite of theirs by a country mile. Finisterre surprised me by actually being quite good. (My second favourite is So Tough). But it's their import only albums which are worth their weight in gold. Albums like Continental and The Misadventures of Saint Etienne are just overwhelmingly gorgeous to listen to.

lacklastre, depress, a bit hopeless, dully, so pale, bloodlessly but calm, clearly, so smart and intelligence.......

And given half the chance to turn the hands of time
I'm always a bridesmaid
Couldn't live with myself
If I tried to be the bride
On common ground we'll build our castle walls
We'll build them stone by stone and how

Where it burned orange let it burn gold

Ouch. Burn in shame.
The lyrics? She just seems to add occasional "Na Na"'s wherever they need to go in to rhyme with something. And she still rhymes the same words....!!!!
The only bit of Avril lyrics I like are that song...the "I'm young, but I get tired and I get weak." Don't know what it's called, and wouldn't want to investiage as there are artists that write much better lyrics, also her voice is TERRIBLE. I really think it is.
