I don't think Liz was actually DJ ing. I think the station featured two hours of Liz's music. It could have been " The Beatles All Star Breakfast" with all Beatles songs for two hours, etc.... That's my take on it anyway.

I listened to the mp3 clip and it doesn't specify whether Liz will be DJ-ing or if they will play Liz songs for 2 hours. But I gotta wonder, does Liz even have enough singles to fill 2 hours of radio?

I hear ya. All this excitement and promotion of 'Exile' last summer, the tour, the talk of Liz returning to her roots, the new album in the fall, the stupid little Spinner video parady of the Matrix, the numerous interviews with Liz speaking of being 'unleashed' with her new stuff, she was supposedly producing this new album herself than along comes Trott and Alagia and that hope is crushed. A couple of carrots dangled in front of us with the tune for BR and the short clip on '90210' than fucking nothing! The whole thing is such a huge disappointment. I don't know what the fuck is going on whether this is Liz's fault, her label, or her management, all I know is this has really become one massive fucking letdown. I think, to me anyway, that Liz's career is obviously dead in the water. I still hold out some faint glimmer of hope for Liz, but it might just be time to finally let 'ole Liz go. My two cents.

I don't know. I'd love to wake up to Liz every Saturday morning, but yeah lets hope it's that she's actually in the studio and maybe even showcasing some of her new material? But I guess it might just be a Liz-a-thon of released material.

if she was allowed to do decent music...she has a fantastic voice, an amazing knowlege of GREAT music...i would TOTALLY be a fan of her show..if it was the kind of show i THINK she could do...

if it turned into a Katy Perry/Avril Lavigne love-fest...fuck that.
but - a show of decent music and her take on it...that would be a great listen.

i couldn't see it happening on commercial radio, unless there was some new big announcement.

lol. 20 questions.but...i could see if this is their "thing"...but if this is just an out of the blue deal, i'm very curious to know what prompted it...
it would be like someone just...having an "Elastica-a-thon" or "Veruca Salt Sunday" or a ...i dunno...frickin'... "Barbara Manning-mania" like...so random and one-off...i'm very curious to know what the usual format of the station is...and if it's commercial or public access.
i can't see it being commercial unless there is some HUGE hook up w/ ATO.
