So, I was at work this past week, had my iPod on, chilling with a little bit of Jesus and Mary Chain, when I come across the song "Head On." Apparently I haven't heard this song in a while, because when I get to the chorus of the song, I start hearing:

Makes you want to feel, makes you want to try,
Makes you want to blow the stars from the sky
I can't stand up, I can't cool down,
I can't get my head off the ground.

I had to do an audio double-take, because I realized it was extremely similar to the background vocals Liz puts in the Girly Sound version of "Slave."

I did a little bit of research, and noted that "Head On" came out in late 1989, and the Girly Sound records were recorded sometime in 1991.

I don't know if Liz has ever mentioned that she worked some of those lyrics out of that song, or if anyone else had known about it before as well. Just posting this out there.
