I became a Liz Phair fan only a few months ago. I love the cd "Liz Phair", but as you probably know, the internet EP is no longer available through the web site. Does anyone have a copy? I don't have any Liz to trade, but I have hundreds of rare cd's and dvd's by various artists.
Thanks
Wayne

I have the mp3s. I can re-upload them for you (just let me know). If you're looking for the physical release (entitled comeandgetit), you should look on eBay. That's where I got mine and they seem to be popping up a lot lately.

Easy! Perfect! Thanks.
Why were these songs not included on the full cd?

the physical release (entitled comeandgetit) on eBay? I've checked eBay a lot for Liz material, and I've never seen that title. There are none for sale currently and none in the completed auctions either. So it wasn't just an internet-only thing? There's a cd single of "Why Can't I?" on amazon. It has two of the five tracks. Is that what you mean?

No. The "Liz Phair EP" was released physically as comeandgetit. It was released only promotionally, so it's slightly rare (I believe that it was given out at certain concerts). You might have to watch eBay for quite a while, but they do pop up, and for reasonable prices.
As for your question as to why the songs were not included on the physical CD...I don't know for sure, but I believe that they were left off because they didn't "fit" on the album. The songs on CAGI are actually good, whereas most songs on the self-titled are not.

Actually I loved "Liz Phair". That's why I wanted the internet ep. But to each his own.

Is this forum the best place for the lastest news on Liz, e.g. tours, new material, etc?

It would be, if there was any news. (And there hasn't been for some time.)

Nail on the head. How depressing.
