Well, there might be more talk about the new album if we knew more about the new album. By my count, here's what we know: approximate season in which it is projected to be released, and number of songs. Not really much to go on, IMO.

There just really isn't too much else to say about her at the moment.
And, to be honest, while I will always have some affection for Liz Phair, I haven't felt really close to her musically for quite awhile-I just am curious if her newer material will be closer to her punkier roots.
Basically, I'm just here coz I enjoy my buds who chat on here.

It bums me out being promised an album by the end of year and not evening have a proper official site up or any news at all. I am used to no Liz news but at this point more should be happening.

^Well, remember she's still doing those EIG shows, and I'm sure Liz & her newer company feel she probably needs to do that to get some more interest drummed up in her newer material, especially if she's trying to appeal to her older fan base. She'll release it when she and her newer label feel it is ready & the right time.
