This is my favorite dog, Matt, and one of my cats, Mr. Bigglesworth. Mr. Bigglesworth and Matt cuddle all the time (Mr. Bigglesworth loves Matt more than he loves me!).


Here's Matt again, this time sitting on the 4-wheeler. He loves to ride the 4-wheeler, after the ride is over, he sits on the 4-wheeler for hours, just hoping that someone will give him another ride.

I passed a pet store the other day selling "Christmas Kittens". I almost came home with an armful of kittens...which would have thus cemented me into "Crazy Cat Lady" status, and therefore I (unwillingly) abstained.

That's so sad your cat passed away.. I never used to be much of a pet person until I got Ananas.. now I've become so attached to him that it would be like losing one of my best friends if he were to die. He always knows when I need him.. if I'm crying, I always know he'll show up to cuddle me, when normally that's totally not his style.
He's a great pet.

We got a dog from the SPCA on Dec. 24th. We went through a pet to pet introduction over there to see if our miniature schnauzer would get along with the mixed breed that we went interested in. It looked ok over at the SPCA, but there have been a number of incidents between the two dogs.

The new dog is a 9 month old puppy and seems to need to chew. The two dogs have fought over chew toys.

I think that we might have to return the new dog. We're trying to make it work, but I just don't know.

^That's too bad.
Our neighbors, though, went through a similar situation about a year ago & they had to return the dog-it just did not work out.

Tramp, did you get a dog the opposite sex of the other dog? They say that's best. Mine ignored each other for the first 10 minutes and have been best friends ever since. Sometimes it takes a little patience. Maybe you can call the place and ask for suggestions?

here's my dog. his name is Willie...he's a basset hound/lab mix as far as we know. that's what they told us when we adopted him from the animal shelter. he's pretty much insane. lol

At the SPCA, they had given her the name of Martha, but that wasn't going over well, so we're currently leaning towards Sophie. Our other dog is Joey (a male miniature schnauzer). I believe his pictures are still posted in this thread.

We returned our dog to the SPCA today. My wife cried when they took her away.

They think that they'll be able to adopt her out again fairly quickly. We left all of her toys that we bought for her and the medicines, etc.

They said that they'll only put dogs to sleep when there are extreme behavioral problems or medical problems which make the animals impossible to be adopted.

Maybe you need to stick to a one dog family.

Me too. My brother's been telling me that for years (though I don't see anything wrong with being a cat lady, I do object to the 'crazy' part).

My friend has a cat.. THAT HAS THUMBS! Her name is keisha, the thumbmaster. Its so wierd to see it walk... kind of gorilla like.

My poor little Mr. Bigglesworth is dead. My mom says he hasn't been up to the house in quite a few days, and he was acting strange the last time he was there. He probably got sick and went off and died somewhere. Poor Biggles.

February has not been a good month for cats at the coolchick275 household. Quentin died too. We think that she got eaten by a coyote. She was just too little to be so adventurous.

I have a 4 year old Golden Retriever baby named Sammy. She is the love of my life.

My dad and brother found Quentin, she was dead of course, but at least now we know she didn't get eaten by a coyote.

oh my goodness two cats lost... I have two young cats and I've never had to deal with one dying before, but I truly am sorry.

This is Uma. She's the one that just had kitties, though one of her kitties died (and of course, it just had to be the one I liked). She's sitting on the 4-wheeler. All the cats love to lay on the 4-wheeler, for some reason. They don't mind riding it, either. My cats are weird.

^ Cute! My cat used to stick his tongue out when he was asleep sometimes. I thought it was the funniest thing ever.

The first one is of Eb (he's a little fatty--and his eyes are shiny because he's blind)
The second one is Hoss--or Hoss-tard as I sometimes call him (he "replaced" Matt, who died)--I didn't want to like him at first, but he grew on me
The third one is my newest baby, Dot (named after my great aunt). I'm hoping that she lives *fingers crossed*
The fourth one is of Uma laying on my lap and feeding one of her babies. She likes to be held while she feeds them (she's very needy and kinda weird)
And the last one is Jinxie. She was kinda grumpy because I woke her up when I went over to check on her--she was sleeping in the laundry sorter


*Sigh* I miss my babies!
