Okay, this is a thread where we can talk about or post pictures of our pets.
I have 2 dogs and 7 cats (we had a really slutty cat who just kept popping out babies

). Here's one of the dogs, Matt, and one of the cats, Jinxie (yes, she's named after the cat from Meet the Parents--you'll soon find that I'm not very inventive when thinking up names).

Aw, I love your cat! It looks a lot like my cousins' cat (then again, all cats with that color pattern tend to look quite similart).
I myself have 2 cats. The always have huge battles everywhere, tugging at each other's head and scratching and pinning down, etc.
This is the smaller, she's the dominant one:

I love her too (she's kind of my favorite of all my cats). I agree, all cats with that coloring look pretty much the same. When she was a kitten she had a sister with the same pattern and they were absolutely impossible for anyone but me or my friend to tell apart (the only reason we could tell them apart was because she liked one and I liked the other).

*Shivers* I hate spiders. I am terrified of them. So terrified of them, in fact, that I won't even step on them for fear that I will miss then they will crawl up my leg. I have to have someone else kill them for me. I know. I'm weird and slightly pathetic.

I don't think slightly is a strong enough word.
The word i'm thinking of starts with a V and ends in "airy."
But at least you recognize it as an illegitimate fear, so I still like you.

I am scared of spiders, but I respect them. We do have a small colony of hairy spiders (I don't know what kind) in our basement, but they stay out of our way and I rarely see them. But if I see a spider in my house, I don't kill it; I try and capture it and release it outdoors.

Haha.
very illegitimate. I didn't even include the fact that if I can't find someone to kill them for me, I spray them with basin tub and tile cleaner (which is used for cleaning the bathroom) until they're dead. I also didn't mention that if I see a spider in my room before I go to bed, I won't go to bed until I kill it. I once stayed up for about 2 hours trying to find a spider so that I could kill it so that I could finally go to bed. The whole time I was thinking "god, Marci, this is so stupid and ridiculous, just go to bed, it's not going to hurt you". Suffice it to say, I would NEVER EVER even consider for a moment, stepping foot in Cherub's basement (sorry Cherub).
Hopefully you still like me after hearing that.
I won't even go into my irrational fear of bees (all kinds), hornets, yellow jackets, etc. and mud-dobbers (even though I am well aware that mud-dobbers can't hurt me because they don't have stingers). Haha, I'm a FREAK

i like the idea of pets. but the poop thing and the picking up the poop thing turns me off. but i want a pet. i saw a poor stray kitten by the road yesterday. it was going to cross the road and probably would have been crushed by cars, i seriously almost stepped out of the car to rescue it. but i decided against it. it's probably dead by now.

It's just that they are sort of very complete stories.
There isn't much to say when all your posts are well developed anecdotes. All we can really say is neat or cool or thanks for sharing, all of which get old real fast.
Maybe they just dont provoke conversation.
Hows this though:

You realize that probably isn not the real reason. Dogs do not respond to visual stimuli like we do; smell and sound are much more important to them.
