Yeah, I didn't realize how much Liz and Aimee I listen to, either

It might all be enya lol. I listen to her on my ipod to help me sleep. It reminds me of my mother and blocks out loud dorm noises.

Embarrasing and true.

The number at the end is the amount of plays, the Northen Lad is the live one from the special edition Tales Of A Librarian, and not to make me look sad...but those 180 plays... 160 of them were in one go. I just sat on my floor for like two days with that song and my computer. God people have stupid effects!

Yuck.

I second that. Although my list is kind of strange... all the songs on it are ones that I haven't listened to for a year (before I got into most the artists I like now) It has a lot of Rufus Wainwright (who I still like but overplayed his music), some Martha Wainwright (ditto), 2 Imani Coppola songs (I still love her, just sick of the album those songs are on), some Blackie and the Rodeo Kings (done with them pretty much), an Aretha Franklin song, a White Stripes song (done with them), and yeah actually there is only one Liz Phair song, Firewalker (strange how that's there, a very good song but not one of my very favorites). If the list had started being counted in 2006, it would probably be chock full with Liz (who I got into just earlier this year), more Imani Coppola, M.I.A., Alice Smith, Amy Rigby, and such.
The reason that the songs I listen to now aren't there is probably because in 2004-2005, I basically listened to the same songs over and over again, now I listen to a large bunch of songs, so that the numbers are more spread out.
QuieroPhair
My list actually is pretty typical of what I listen to. I don't see a point to listing it.

Top of the World - Dixie Chicks

patty griffin wrote that actually. the dixie chicks have covered a lot of her music. as has emmylou harris. if you haven't heard any patty griffin, i highly suggest finding flaming red. a definite must have album from the 90's.
coolchick275
I tried liking Patty Griffin, but I just don't. I like a few of her songs, but that's it. I also like the Dixie Chicks' version of Top of the World better. A LOT better.
