Okay so after I read this post, I went and checked it out... I hadn't seen it before. Holy CRAP. I love the video! I love the mobster inspired kids, and just.. wow

Its inspired me to check out more Fiona Apple like crazy. I can't get enough of her now; I had no idea she wrote such beautiful lyrics!

That is a GREAT video.. I loved the parts where he's in the ocean in the tiny red t-shirt.. hilarious

also, I liked where he's reading the lyrics that go "Became dialogue as a diagram of a play for blood" and he quickly looks at her as if to say, "Really?? Huh." It's great. Really good concept for a video. In addition... why does she not SMILE more, she looks so beautiful in that video when she does!

Mr. Spammer... it's okay; you've been reported to the TSA. I don't think your company will be too happy about it, but neither will the TSA for that matter. Have fun aside your co-workers in your cells!

This week there was some nonsense about YouTube being ordered by some court to prevent users from posting some movie that they keep taking down. The lawyers were trying to say that YouTube could setup filters to detect when the video was being reposted and automagically nuke it.
It just keeps making you think how awful lawyers can be.

Well, they are losing a lot of money out of it. Not that I agree with the lawyers; I think youtube is a great site. But I think they (being corporate greedy bigwigs) have a legal arguement.

Since you tube makes money off of adverts, they're still benefitting off of the materials being posted.
Viacom is pinging them on this and probably wants a share of the loot.

CC and I are both SNL fans. I might have missed that episode.
My wife and I are thinking about getting the first season. Those were good shows, but I think they got better once Chevy left the show, although we liked Chevy. You got to see more of Gilda, Danny, and John. I was in college when SNL started.

That is an awesome sketch! YouTube has had to delete everything snl because of copyright something or other that didn't start getting enforced until last December of 2005. before then you used to be able to watch anything from NBC on YouTube. I blame Lazy Sunday, that's what started all of this. The sketch is from a recent ephisode that Jake Gyllenhaal hosted, so the rerun shouldf be on some Saturday Night.

As you might know, I am a big SNL fan. I have been to two live shows and i email some of the cast members regularly. If you have any sketch ideas I could pass them along, after all the sketch about myspace was my idea. I'd love to talk SNL with you, old or new.

My niece has worked off and on for NBC and she did some research for SNL at one point.
I only discovered this by google-ing her stage name.
She also was a producer/story line editor for Average Joe and another reality show.

I see a query from her on the SNL website. She's looking for information about two sketches. She was a researcher that worked her way up into better jobs. She's now a member of WGA.
I'd mention more details, but I don't want to have too much detail about me be publicly available. I'll PM you.

I'm a big L & O fan...not so much an SNL fan since the Phil Hartman/ Victoria Jackson/ Dana Carney years...except for a bit during the Chris Farley years...but they do still have a decent sketch once every 3 or 4 episodes.
