This is a really well done series!! I have watched the first three episodes and am impressed. Liz made a couple of appearances in tonight's episode and made a rather funny comment on how naive her parents were about drugs. Her brother grew plants up in his bedroom and they were busted by their parents smokin' up a number of her brother's home grown. I guess her parents were just stunned. I loved her explanation to her folks, "but it's up there!" ( in her brother's room), as if to say, "it's up there, gotta smoke it!" Good stuff. No pun intended! laugh.gif

Damn, somehow I'd been unaware that this was showing on VH1 so early. I saw a commercial for it on the Sundance Channel the other day and June 16 was the date I had marked on my imaginary calendar.

Anyway, can't wait to see this. If there's anything I like more than Liz Phair and pot, it's Liz Phair on pot!

Yeah it would be nice if there were more Liz, but overall, I'm still enjoying this series just the same. The film footage and soundtrack are awesome. The commentary by all the various authors, personalities, and artists is intelligent and well thought out. Finally, one of my favorite moments so far, the film footage of Hendrix on acid, playing live at Monteray is just incredible! No wonder everyone was just blown away!! Fuck that guy was GOOD! I have a feeling we may see more of Liz in the final episode since it is about the 80's. Hope this series comes out on dvd, I'd buy it.

That footage of Hendrix on acid was amazing. I really loved the Witney Houston singing the, "Just Say NO" song. Oh the hypocrosy. Its so funny how a simple catch phrase was supposed to make America drug free.
