Do you think Liz will tour this summer? My guess is no, especially by what she said recently about dissapearing for a while. What does everyone think?

Without some kind of fiscal support from Capitol or some other corporate sponsorship, highly doubtful. IMO, the only possibilty might be another acoustic tour with Dino, something with low cost overhead.

I don't see a full tour happening.
However, I'd love to see her tour solo, ala her 1995 tour.

But I don't see a tour happening at all. I could see a sort of random show thing going on though. Like how she performed at Lolla and Summerfest. Stuff like that. Just one-shot shows around the midwest perhaps. But there hasn't been any news in a long while.

She's playing Taste of Chicago on the evening on July 8.

That said, there's very few places I'd recommend less to catch a concert than at Taste of Chicago. Proceed with caution. Be prepared to deal with a disinterested mob, bring a small fortune for food and water, and plan on getting there several hours early if you want to claim real estate anywhere near the stage.

Taste of chicago is a great place to see a show you must get there early to get a good spot.
If you need a place to stay the Palmer House is beautiful and cheap, It's hot sweaty crowded and expensive but that's
the best part of rock and roll anyway. See you there.

At this point I don’t think she has a choice. I am sure she is only doing this Food Fest because it’s in Chicago.

I've stayed at the Palmer house before It is quite beautiful I love the loop.

COULDN'T GET A ROOM AT PALMER HOUSE. RENAISSANCE BETTER BE NICE IT SURE IS EXPENSIVE.

I am really disappointed that I did not attend her last show in DC. I had seen her there 3 times before but if I'd known it might be the last time I had a chance to see her perform I would have blown off what I was doing and gone anyway. She always did a great show at the 9:30 club. Most of the time it was the last stop on her tour so I think she always did more random stuff there. I hope she comes back at least one more time

"Taste of Chicago" show would be awesome, but if she's not going to tour now, I hope she'll hole up in her "apartment" and let her emotions go into writing what she really feels again .... With the way the world has been yanking her around the past few years, you know she's feeling something ...
