So I'm watching the Olympics tonight when a Chevy commercial comes on and I hear this KILLER tune being played. I listen to the lyrics and after a few Googles discover the song is Brandi Carlile's The Story. I had heard of Brandi, she's managed by Liz's management team, A Squared Management, but had never given her a listen. I've listened to The Story 5 times now, I'm fucking HOOKED! She has a Lucinda Williams kind of vibe to her. She's fucking good! I see she's playing shows with Sheryl Crow and Maroon 5. Anywhoo....
