Impossible Princess (Kylie Minogue) The cover is so electric and dark at the same time. A nexus of light engulfs Kylie who is otherwise surrounded by darkness. Pulsing with energy and certain level of androgyneousness, gorgeous.

Medulla (Bjork) The hair sculpture is amazing, the editing with the blotches of colour is fabulous and the album's name spelled out in Bjork's necklace is a clever subtlety. Primal, dark, simple. Just like the album.

Exile in Guyville (Liz Phair) Says Fuck you without saying anything. The fact that is gorgeous photo was taken in a photobooth is a dichotomy of the album as a whole: Simpler is better.

Sea Change (Beck) Naked and colourfull, this album came in a bunch of limited edition covers, this is the standard one.

Sgt. Peppers Lonely Heart Club Band (The Beatles) A complex tapestry, intriguing because there are so many things to see.

Pink Moon (Nick Drake) Surreal, bizzare, unfathomable. I dont understand it, but you dont have to to appreciate the complexity of the painting.
