Tori probably doesn't care if we ever listen to it.
I have to (respectfully, of course) disagree with that statement, for obvious reasons. If Tori doesn't care whether or not we hear it, why waste her time making and promoting the record? Not to mention touring.

I meant we, as in me and you.
And she tours because that's where she makes her money. Hardly any of her income will come from the record release. If you really want to respect her and help her out, then go to one of the shows. In that regard, the record is more promotion of the tour.

Yeah. I wrote a paper once in support of illegal downloading and my main argument was that artists make very little money off of their albums. The majority comes from touring and merchandise.
Trust me, I would love to help Tori out by going to one of her concerts, but so far, Omaha and Kansas City aren't on the list of expected tour stops. If she does come to either one of those places, I would be
more than happy to buy tickets to go see her (preferably in Omaha). But I can't drive all the way to Denver or Minneapolis just for a concert. I'm not going to do that, it's just crazy and would cost way too much.

Yep, we all are running into the same problem. It's slowed several of us down and completely stopped a few people from posting altogether.
The only positive note is that it seems to have completely stopped the SPAM. Evidently, it's just too hard for the spammer to figure out a way to work around the problem.
I'm trying to work with some of the others to get them back "online" here.

My wife went in for jury duty, but got them to reschedule her because the woman that she works with is out of town due to the death of her mother. This was a hardship case, as my wife is the only one left to manage those buildings.

I went to the happy hour for my friend who was having her 28th birthday today. On the cookie cake, it said 21+7, as one of my other coworkers said that she was turning 21--obvious joke.
I was only supposed to have two beers, but there was a mixup and I got a third beer. I've been kinda buzzed most of the evening. I left there around 6:45. My wife was upset because it was getting late. Her acid reflux means that we have this really short window where it is acceptable for the two of us to eat, because she has problems eating later.

We got back from going over to Mont Bonnell, which is a high spot in Austin that overlooks Lake Austin (Colorado River). We took both cameras and the new flash cards. I'll try to post some of the pictures later.
After that, we went by my wife's work (I'd never been over there) and I kicked off a virus scan. She didn't even know that virus scanning software was installed on her system. It probably needs to be defragged as well.
We stopped by Harold's Warehouse Outlet and bought some shirts/blouses.
The guy that installed the electrical outlet for the backyard fountain is trying to fix it up--it was open and probably defective, because the piece that you screw the electrical outlet into had separate from the containing box--they're getting it fixed now.
I probably need to go over and pick up my son from a friends house.

It was released here today and I just ran into the store at lunch time and was like "gimme gimme gimme". It was at number 4 in both music shops I looked in.
When I went in, it was being played and "Body And Soul" was on. I was just singing away aha. Everyone in the store seemed to be enjoying the song, and all the businessmen were tapping their feet. Quite surreal.
