I have decided I NO LONGER have a crush on the coffee guy where I get my americanos around the building. At first I thought he was a moody, cute, punky dude with gorgeous eyes, but lately he has been playing this really crappy techno music & today he had this TACKY gold "glittery" baseball cap with $ signs all over it...I don't see how I EVER could have liked him...
I'm so fickle in my day to day crushes...

Very! PP tax is a pain in the butt for us because we have 500 facilities and no exact way of determining what is what. Half the time they keep crap on the books that could have been junked years ago. We just outsourced both our PP tax and RE tax because we are so short staffed and got stuck in a corner. I do sales and use tax.

A lesson I tell people on business property-if you don't USE it, get RID of it because you are still liable for PP tax if it is there & can be used...

Oh I hear ya sister sledge. It is just hard to communicate and control things like that with people in the field. Besides, they have always done whatever is good for them. We have regional directors to oversee sites, but they can’t do everything. We hardly ever get audited though for PP because people do not want to come to our headquarters for just one or two sites worth.
Currently listening to the glorious Harmonium cd and thinking about tracking down something sweet.

We have a much larger unit for PP than a lot of counties do.
I'm really very nice about things, but can turn into a pitbull quickly if I feel folk are trying to pull one on me-but that isn't very often.

Most auditors I have worked with are alright, but I have had my share of a-holes. A lot of them don’t seem to grasp that when you are a big corporation you cannot obtain all the information you need with a push of a button. I do love my job though.

My brain is swiss cheese so I gave you misinformation earlier.
I just realized I have 2 parties to go this weekend.
One is my friend Gina's annual Xmas bash-she & her husband involved in the music industry-I actually met Debora Iyall from Romeo Void there last year (she lives in town now) & people like the Dandy Warhols are sometimes there. I always feel amazed to still be on the invite list year to year.
Then I have a chaunakka party to go to on Sunday.

*cougggggggggggggh*
no, first of all I don't ever using anybody's money to travel, second I'm only using to own money to travel, actually I think I'm incredibily lucky because I didn't using lots of money in paris, I stayed in my friend's home and there's a big strike there, most of the tourist I've been is by foot cause paris is small, meanwhile some of the underground were free, that's why I didn't spend lots of money, everytime I lived in the youth hostel in china, that's it
I don't depend on my family, they're helpless with me, I'm lean on myself, okay, thakns for the curious

I was crying because I still haven't totally gotten over my great-aunt's death and I still cry about her sometimes. I was reading something that reminded me of her, then I started thinking about her, and so I started crying. Also, I'm totally PMS-ing, so that contributed a little bit too.

Ugh...I used to hate gym. In middle school I would say I had cramps just to get out of it. In high school, you had to have a doctor's note to get out of class, so instead I would just say that I forgot my shoes (even though I actually never did). The only gym class I ever liked was individual sports where got to bowl and play ping pong and play badmitten. We didn't even have to run or stretch or warm up (which was a HUGE plus for me!).

& my teacher this year is a total asshole.....but he's dumb as a rock so it's easy to trick him into believing stupid excuses. thanfully i only have gym for a couple more weeks then i switch to health...uck. but yay for no more gym!!!!!
i could go on for hours about how awful gym is.
