I didn't know that they spelled it a special way for your toothache.

Getting hot for Placebo.
I take too much ibuprofen. I started after normal paracetamol stopped having an effect for me.
Marlon, you'd love our medical cabinet. I feel spoilt for choice.

My family usually takes 4-5 ibuprofen per headache or whatever, which is way too much I know

Oooh what kind? We have the normal, the 200s and the red ones that you're overdosing on if you take more than two.

Yeah we have the 200s and yes it is overdosing.

Some nights I use ibuprofen to get to sleep. Other nights I'll use extra strength tylenol. Somehow, I guess it's the muscle relaxing that must help me get to sleep.

QP and Lys are the type who'd commit suicide by overdosing on prescription pills. they're more high scale. i'll just slit my wrists and i smoke pot. i don't know what point i am trying to make by this bullshit.
GOD!
the ibuprofen coupled with mefenamic acid made me really sleepy for a while. but that was hours ago. i am kind of upset about the incident that happened earlier. i broke someone's car alarm by opening the door without pressing some buttons. ack, i was so embarrassed. but turns out that there was already a glitch with the thing so it wasn't totally my fault. i'm doing laundry now.

I don't take pills
Unless I'm very sick
But when I just feel averagely crappy
I just let myself be (unless someone offers me some)

I hardly ever take pills. The exception being when I have cramps. If I have a headache or something, I just wait it out.

Jun 8 2007, 04:29 AM
Truth is most headaches are caused by dehydration. Drink a very large glass of water and slow things down for fifteen minutes and chances are it will go away.

Thanks, I didn't know that. Next time I get a headache I'll try that.

Jun 8 2007, 04:52 AM
I hope it really helps you out.
As you may have figured out, a hangover is just extreme dehydration. Although it is a bit more complex that that (alcohol poisons you and dehydrates you by inhibiting your brain in a manner that prevents certain chemicals that allow your kidney to retain water) what it comes down to is that water = good. Things like smirnov are the worst because soda does not hydrate you and alcohol is proactive in starving your body of water.

Oh, well, my headaches have nothing to do with being hungover because I don't drink. My headaches are from something else, who knows what though.

No no, I'm a drowner through and through. That or I get shot coming out of the hostage situation I've created.
You're so not a slit wrists, you're the one in the car with the pipe and the carbon monoxide poisoning as "Lost In Space" plays over and over until your slip and slither into the warmth of the poisonous clouds and feel your eyelids slowly sealing down, tears no longer streaming down your face in warm lines.

We just came back from eating with some friends and the kids. There were 8 of us at the table. We ate over at the Iranian mom and pop place.
The husband of one of my wife's coworkers was bummed because you couldn't get alcoholic beverages there.
They (wife's coworker and her husband) get to select the place we eat at next, probably Japanese.
I'm still trying to get over the on-again-off-again migraine. I think that it's gone and then I sneeze and kowza--it hurts!

We threw on some clothes and went out and got breakfast. After that we came back and worked in the front yard. I trimmed back the crepe myrtles, the privats, the boxwoods, and the rosemary. I collected some of the rosemary and may mail it to some people.
I then got cleaned up and am checked the board for what's going on.

We got up this morning and went over to Einstein Bagel's for breakfast. For bagel places, they're a bit more reasonable, but we made the mistake of going to the one 183 and Braker instead of the one on Anderson Lane.
We ordered a couple of bagel and shmears, drinks, and a blueberry muffin. We were waiting and waiting on the bagels. I finally went up there and asked about them and they said they were working on them. After another 5 minutes, my wife went up there and asked. Somehow they "lost" the order and never made it. And this was after I had specifically shown them the order. My wife told them to come up with the order, or refund our money. They made the order but the woman that brought it to us seemed so put out.
No apology. No nothing. It was obvious to us that there was a problem when people after us were getting their orders, but not us. I think this is the most pissed that I've been in a long time.
We'll avoid this location in the future and go to the other one. I just wish there was one closer to us. Maybe when they open up 1890 Ranch this fall.

I got the phone after talking to my next older brother for about 30 minutes. He's planning on going to the funeral as well. We still don't know when it will be. Maybe Wednesday or Thursday.
My uncle was actually a direct descendant of Francis Scott Key, who composed an important song for this country--or so I've been told. My brother said that he was probably more of a father figure to us for the one year that we shared Corpus Christi with them than the multiple years that we spent with my dad. Sigh! It's probably true.
