Liz, accoriding to an interview on mtv.com, said she would love for her next album to be acoustic, with her playing the guitar. She said she wants her guitar parts back and wants to hear them in the record. Would you like for the next album to be acoustic?

I don't know.
Heather did a stripped down record with "Storm" and it worked, so maybe it would work for liz.
I want more piano songs.

i think a heavier more eletrcic sounding liz would be better. her and her electric guitar amped and turned all the way up. she needs to do some more electric guitar solos. she could do a double disc of both electric and accoustic like foo fighter's in your honor.

I said yes. I think it would be cool, especially since it would be a new thing for Liz to do an acoustic record.
More piano songs would be cool, too.

i voted no. i fear that when she does go all acoustic, she'd have a tendency to write more ballads and i love her really rocked out stuff. maybe something like girlysound, unassisted vocals, minimal instrumentation, playful chord changes and lyrics that aren't stupid.

I voted yes. I want her to get back to her girlysound sound. No drums, on heavy amps, no slick production, just her, her guitar, and and a microphone.

When it comes to her "next" album, at this point, I'll take anything. Frankly, who knows if there will even be a "next" album.

whatever she wants to do is cool by me. as long as she doesn't copy herself. leave the past in the past.

Not only should it be acoustic---it should also be mastered on an answering machine, or similar cassette-oriented technology, just for fun.

an album with more piano?
please, that whole drag out the piano for Chopsticks thing is way over the top
I'd love to hear more Liz guitar, love her odd chord voicings
but I'd really love to hear more immediate songs with restrained laid back come hither vocals, no pop hooks
darkchocolateearthegg would be good
