At the last minute, tickets to this show dropped into my lap from an old friend, which was very nice since it sold out in minutes and I had been interested in seeing Liz perform Exile in Guyville in order. Honestly, I had mild expectations for how things would go but it turned out to be a very good show.
If anyone happens to know the name of the new song she played during the encore, please let us know!
A heads-up: the levels are a bit low at the start of 6'1" but I pulled them up mid-way through the song, so don't turn it up too loud at the start since it does get louder through the tune. The rest of recording is at that louder volume level.
Note that this was recorded in Hi-SP (the highest bitrate lossy encoding for Hi-MiniDisc) for various reasons. As with MiniDisc, Hi-MiniDisc uses the proprietary ATRAC codec so the recording was converted to FLAC for sharing.

no, i am talking about a 2 second gap between songs. which shouldn't be noticeable during a live recording. since its not a full show i would imagine there are gaps. so that would probably indicate that there are no full show recordings for download.

Not sure what went down in Chicago and why alot of those critics there bashed Liz so hard, but this NY show is just about as spot on as you can get!! Those Chicago critics just must have something personal going on with Liz since several forum members who attended the Chicago show said she was unreal. Everything being said about these NY shows is very positive also. So she's great in SF and NY but not in Chicago??? Fatass DeRogatis is either DEAF or just really has got it in for Liz. If the Chicago show was performed this well, and I'm sure it was, how could you call it a clunker! I've unfortunately never seen Liz live ( but hope to when she tours for the new album ), but have several bootlegs of many shows over the years. This show is the BEST I've ever heard her! Kudos to loveaPhair for recording this show, very nice sound! Thank you so much for finding and posting this bootleg Baudrillard. One last thing, that new song is, IMHO, very,very good! EDIT: My bad for misunderstanding who did the taping of this show. Thank you "woj" for bringing this show to Liz fans everywhere.

^^Why don't you want to talk about dime? Live torrents are perfectly legal (especially the ones from dime). The artists give permission to tape and if the artist doesn't want their stuff on Dime, then it gets taken off.

I can upload the flac files here. Getting a dime account can be tricky sometimes.

if you break up the show into individual tracks then you are creating gaps. because you are breaking up the songs. when you then put them all back together you're going to have to take out the gaps. you basically have to some splicing. unless the program you're using will automatically do it. there are some shows that not broken up and are seamless. it's one long file and not individual tracks. therefore you can't jump to the next song or anything. it's sort of like playing a vhs tape. some live shows are available like that. i know barenaked ladies has a lot of their shows for download that way. it's usually two files. and they're both seamless. a lot of times though live shows are broken up into individual mp3/flac files. and that's where gap comes in.

It's very simple and I've made one but I didn't know if there'd be interest in it. I'll up it when I get home from work. And don't forget to tell WLY that he is wrong about there being gaps between the tracks, that is all I ask.

It's a very simple process for anyone familiar with digital audio editing, you simple load the first track into a sound editing program and then add the successive tracks one by one with a command called "open append". Nothing to it! Just please tell WLY he is wrong and doesn't know what he's talking about? That's all I ask.

If only he knew what he was talking about, he might be dangerous!
