went to the ATO website, and they now (finally!!!) mention the re-release.... including the THREE B-sides... how much does anyone want to bet that "wild thing" got cut due to licensing purposes? don't forget it was mysteriously cut from her first podcast minutes after it was posted.

No one would happen to have a leak of this (as it has been circulated to press, check out the Never Said discography...)?

I recognized the guy from UO--Nato Kash, I think. I read in one of the new interviews linked here recently that Liz said he's the guy she had her big secret crush on and she wrote EIG about him. From what I read it sounds like they never got together (?) and that she'd never told him or anyone (?) that he was the guy. Is that all true?

i noticed that too. she sounds so california. she's hot but she sounds so.... malibu and all that stuff. it makes me a bit worried. i can just imagine the critique for the concerts noting how different her vocals sound now. i wonder if she's aware of it.

I wouldn't be too worried about her vocals. Just my opinion, but I think her singing alone with just an acoustic guitar is perfect for her. She really seems to shine when she doesn't have the full band behind her. The Joe's Pub shows from a few years back were VERY good, when Dino wasn't singing back-up LOL ! I think she's right in her element doing these acoustic shows. IMO, Liz will be great. I also read on Rolling Stone, that their Rock Daily Bloggers will be there at the SF show LIVE reporting on the show! She's getting alot of press over at Stone right now. They have also put up the Guyville Redux trailer on there website. Go Liz!

i just hope she tames down the whole perfect singing bit. i was watching a live performance of rock me and she really can hit those notes. the yeaaaaaaaah yeah yeah. she was like proud of it, like yeah i can sing like a pro now. hope she knows eig worked because she didn't sound like a pro.

anyway, like i could see her anyway.

and yeah, cq, i think that's the tae won yu or something. he was in kicking giant. he wrote the girly sound review for chemical imbalance.
