i lsitened to the new album out of curiosity and am now in the process of getting all her older material.

she's fucking awesome, and so much more than "girls..."

"She's So Unusual" is still one of my all-time fav albums.
Also, try and seek out her original band, Blue Angel's self titled debut album. It's a total New Wave classic.
I just got her new album & listened once, but really liked already.

Cyndi is a classic through and through.

Pick up her "At Last" cd - all covers of golden (but great) oldies done the way only la Lauper can do them.

Yeah I've heard a review of that acoustic CD, sounds neat if you're into her music.
