Whether you agree with Coolchick or not is irrelevant, her argument does not contain any logical fallacies. If Coolchick argues in this manner: “If the CD is unreleased (not available for sale), then downloading it and listening to it is immoral because taking an unavailable artistic work without paying is considered stealing in Western society” (which she has) then there are no logical fallacies to be found.




i just happened to remember patty griffin's silver bells, which i downloaded for free. it was and never will be released anywhere. so there are no chances of patty ever making a dime off of it. so downloading it for free, isn't taking anything away from her. she doesn't own silver bells anyway. silver bells is a great album and if anyone here hasn't heard it they should. i made this thread to a) not clog up the other thread with unrelated talk and cool.gif to discuss the greatness of sliver bells, as any way i can throw in my support for this album i will.

yes, flaming is her high point in her career. but silver bells is a very close second. she even gets all nirvana on us. the woman is a amazing talent. wood is speaking the truth.
