I saw Liz at Cain's Ballroom in Tulsa, on Nov 2. Liz played everything I hoped she'd play, it was awesome. Anyways, so my friend and I got to the concert at 4, the doors didn't open until 7 so naturally we were the only ones there. A dingy little red cab pulled up behind our jeep, and I saw this little blonde head in the back. And I said to my friend, "Is that...that's Liz Phair!" Sure enough, Liz herself got out of the cab with her boyfriend and guitarist...can't remember his name. She paid the cab driver, and said, "Thank you!" Then they casually walked to the front of the building, the door was locked so then she had to go to another one. I had like 3 minutes of opportunity to meet her, and we just froze. haha We were only like 5 feet away. So stupid, so stupid. But you know, the concert was amazing... and since we arrived even before Liz, obviously we were front and center right on the stage. hahaha Just thought I'd share.

Dino, her boyfriend's name is Dino! Finally, I remembered. Ok, actually I looked it up... but when I did it clicked.

I got to meet Liz in Tulsa after the show. I'm sure you wanted to know that.

Well, we didn't exactly talk... but I got her autograph...

i also got liz's autograph, after one of her acoustic shows last august. she signed my paper ticket. after more than a half hour of waiting after the show ended, some of us saw her leaving through the back door. we RAN out the front door, around the corner, and into the alley where her car was parked. she gladly signed autographs for us but refused pictures because she had to leave. she then got into her car and drove off.

Someday I will go to a concert and meet her!-is determined...then remembers his partial inability of being the age of12-

That just sucks.I still wanna though.And I didn't know she had a boyfriend.I knew she had a kid and she got married and divorced,but I didn't know that.Hehe.
