Someone over on the MySpace Liz Phair group posted that Liz dressed up for Halloween as a dead beauty queen contestant, WILSIMS is that true? I suspect she probably covered Bad Moon Rising and the BOC song for Halloween.

That's what I was gonna say: "Bad Moon Rising" and "Don't Fear the Reaper" -- two straight-ahead classics. Would love to get a full recap of the show. Halloween is her favorite holiday, and I don't remember ever hearing about an all-out Halloween concert from her.

Thanks for posting the set list Wilsims! I was there as well and am thankful somebody took the time to record the list.

Liz' costume was basically black eyeliner done in a way to make her look like a zombie, and a beauty pageant crown attired in a fetching black dress/evening gown. ("Queen of the Damned" she called it) After the show was over (while she was signing autographs) I overheard her say that she'd appreciate it if nobody took her picture due to the makeup. D'OH! (Honestly, I've never seen her look better and was looking forward to getting a picture with her. sad.gif_ _ _ Perhaps next time.) I did get a CD signed though and was very thankful for that. Thanks again Liz!

If anybody DID happen to get a pic from that night would you mind sharing? I would greatly appreciate it!

During the evening she told a ghost story that had happened to her & asked if somebody else had any to tell. One girl did & got to share with the rest of the group, as it were. It was my first Liz concert so I don't know if anything else was unusual or beyond the norm. It was a good show though!

If you remember anything about Liz's ghost story, could you share it? I want to compare & contrast with previous ghost stories she's told (and yes, there have been at least a couple).

I know Liz dressed in black and looked reallly good with boots and a cowboy hat for a while too (someone fron the audience gave her). The guys had black stuff under their eyes and looked like they had been drunk for three days but played well enough. I wish someone would post the Austin set list because it was very different. She seemed more relaxed and I got a good shot of her tennis shoes with no laces. However I had to hold GEB's 40 lbs purse and take shots with the camera so I wasn't able to write anything down but I know there were no covers and she only did two of her new songs. Lazy Dreamer and Everything to Me.
