I take pride in being a female so when I find a female musician that embodies the traits I find most important, I am immediately drawn to them. This is the case when I first heard Marie Digby. She is this young singer/songwriter from LA who I have been constantly listening to over and over again. Her voice is powerful yet soft and soothing, her lyrics are meaningful and her determination to make a name for herself is impressive. I just love everything she has created and I am so excited that she is coming out with a new CD called Unfold on April 8th! I will be first in line to purchase it but for now I listen to the songs on http://www.myspace.com/mariedigby and watch the videos that are posted. She is so amazing.
