the only one i bought recently was somebody's miracle. i had a chance to buy fiona apple's new one, but i didn't because i'm really into somebody's miracle way too much. once it dies down i may buy another cd. but for now i am quite content.
p.s. there's a spark ep? what's on it?

Yeah, there are two spark eps. Tori has a lot of eps. My version has "Spark", "Purple people", "Have yourself a merry little christmas" and "Bachelorette" but the other version has "Spark", "Cooling" and "Do it again".

No, just it has 4 tracks.
Commonly a single has 2 tracks.
Tori has a lot of eps and singles. I'm collecting them all. Digipack or typical jewel case. As long as I can get all my favourite B-sides on actual cds.

commonly cd singles do have 2 tracks and maybe sometimes 3. import singles such as the spark ones you bought (here in america they're imports) have either 3 or more than that. cornflake girl the single has 3 songs. i always thought an ep had at least 5 songs or more?

It depends which cornflake girl single. The us has 3, but the uk has the piano suite, with "All the girls hate her" and "Over it." as well as a track 2, but I don't remember what song that was. Could have been Honey.

yes i did. its ok. i need to listen to it more till i give a final verdict but im finding some of it hard to embrace. her voice is different to what i pictured it to be. yes your ghost is a great track. as is the letter.

yeah, it is kind of abrasive. she does mean things to her acoustic guitar though, very savage strumming and plucking there.

Oct 13 2005, 05:16 PM
its really her voice tht i find dark. the music can be gentle yet only her voice can change it into something dark. on some songs, she reminds me of patti smith somehow.
fucked up blair23
Oct 13 2005, 05:23 PM
exactly. her topics can be insane too. she's bipolar, you know and kind of has hallucinations. if you delved more into throwing muses (hersh and donelly's band), you'd know how that plays into her music. her lyrics can be very elliptic and solipsistic.
i love her though.
did you know that tanya and kristin are half sisters? just thought i'd let you know.

Dangerous and Moving is excellent. infinitely stronger than their last. More proffessional, better programming, and stronger voices. Forgetting about gomenasai the entire album is quite strong.
It is more electronic in nature, so it combines the best parts of Dvesti Po Vstrechnoi with the best parts of 200km/h.
Obezyanka Nol, We Shout, Dangerous and Moving, and cosmos are excellent.

The album is excellent if you like that genre of music. I doubt it would convert anyone, but it is a great suprise for casual fans, or people who have just liked some previous songs.
So if you liked taty's music you will like this album, if you like electronic pop you will like this album.
If you HATE taty with a passion of course you wont like it.
