OK, gang-I want/need some opinions here!
One of my Xmas presents to myself (aside from hopefully getting an Ipod), was maybe getting my ears repierced. I have had them closed since my mid 20's, BUT am thinking of doing it again.
I'm probably gonna do it, but wondering what you guys think-it's like your chance to think of me as one of those Gwen E-Paper Dolls...
And, NO, Phreak, I don't have my ding- dong pierced (I could see that question coming...)

it's just one of those weird things that freaks me out. like there's a few guys @ my school who have their ears pierced and they both do drugs and smoke and all that crap. so maybe it has something to do with that? who the hell knows.

Of all the weird things, there is this older (than me) appraiser on Antiques Roadshow who has both his ears pierced & I think it looks really great on him. But, I'm indecisive about me...I got tired of it back in my 20's.

We had one of our senior VPs with earrings. Not gaudy or anything.

I think that when he retired, he went and became a preacher or something back in South Carolina, which is interesting for a guy who has pierced ears.

My daughter has a pierced navel and 3 or 4 tattoos. None of them over-the-top or anything and they're okay. I don't like pierced eye brows (what's exactly up with that?) or full body tattoos, but I try to be somewhat open-minded.

KF4, if you want the pierced ears then go for it. As long as it doesn't bother the people around you, then it should be OK.

I also don't care for pierced nipples, but I don't begrudge any young woman that wants to get them.

Hmm...I say don't do it. I just can't picture you with earrings. Plus, I don't really like guys with pierced ears. Don't know why, exactly, just one of those weird things I guess. BUT, don't let my opinion keep you from doing something you want. I'll still like you no matter what you do.

You have real issues on some things you consider too "gay"-I get that sense the more I get to know you.
What I mean is, Phreak-and don't get offended-if you went out with somebody who was more on the "fem" side or did drag or anything, I suspect you would have real trouble with that.

Besides birthdays, I think that it is important to note significant posting milestones.

They created a thread to celebrate LYS 1000th post, but that was before I got here and it doesn't seem to get done anymore.

If you see something positive that should be brought up, then bring it up (because maybe noone else will notice or have the guts to do it).
