New Audioslave tentatively due on May 17th.

I've heard half of it already via her website, and it is outstanding. Far more optimistic than "lost in space", and it was recorded in a mere five days! Where "lost in space" was about addiction, "the forgotten arm" is about recovery. And it's a concept album! Read the story about it here :

anyway, i love aimee. i read this new album will only be 12 tracks, i wanted something grand, like 20 songs or something.

i can only think of the opposite which is the album i'm curious about, but not exactly looking forward to... and that is sheryl crow's next release. if it's anything like the last one, it's nothing but another disappointing album.

I'm really exicted about the new Heather Nova album. And Liz.
I was excited for Sheryl Crow's but she is annoying me now.

An artist album, which is fine.

yeah, i know what you mean. it's like trying some kinda strategy to make more money - like she really needs it. it's silly and i don't approve it one bit. it was a lot better when she made more genuine music. it's disappointing.

her last release (her last lp) had some good songs. weather channel.. okay so one good song.

hahaha, i'd say "lucky kid" isn't that bad. but that's about it. or "soak up the sun" for that matter. even though i despise that song, liz singing the background vocals for the chorus makes up for it.
